Sabinal High Shines at UIL: Students Win Big in Theater Showdown!

SABINAL, TX - On March 4th and 5th, the talented theater students of Sabinal High School showcased their remarkable skills at the District UIL One-Act Play Competition held in San Antonio. Their performance was nothing short of incredible, earning them well-deserved accolades and recognition. Kaya Piles was honored with a spot on the All-District Technical Crew for her outstanding contributions behind the scenes. On the acting front, Morgan Jackson, Reiann McCleery, and Samson Diaz each received All-District acting awards, showcasing their exceptional talent on stage. Darian Garcia stood out among her peers, earning the prestigious All-District Best Performer award, a testament to her outstanding portrayal and dedication. The play itself was recognized as the alternate to the Bi-District contest, marking a significant achievement for the team. This accomplishment is especially noteworthy considering that this program is only in its second year of competition.
